We take our customer feedback very seriously. Since the last release, the ConnectALL team has been hard at work developing new features based on customer requests and improving the product to be as customizable as possible. In the latest release, 2.6, the team packed some new application adapters that support IT service management and integration of agile tools with ERP systems. Let’s have a look what’s new in this version!
Zendesk adapter for ConnectALL
If you’re in ITSM, you already know why Zendesk is a popular ITSM tool. It takes a unique approach to service agents’ engagement with customers. It is also the easiest, fastest way to deliver a good customer experience; however, in order to provide excellent customer service, all teams should be involved. Service agents should be able to work with development and delivery teams to resolve customer requests faster. When every team is using a different application, connecting them to work together and deliver a task becomes the biggest challenge.

Service agents should be able to work with development and delivery teams to resolve customer requests faster. When every team is using a different application, connecting them to work together and deliver a task becomes the biggest challenge.
The ConnectALL adapter for Zendesk application fills this integration gap. Like most adapters, the Zendesk adapter also allows you to map the entities and attributes at the ticket level. It even includes the custom and default fields. The advanced customization options in configuring an application link can be used to create cross-applicational workflows. For example, you can route the ticket from Zendesk to a Jira project based on a condition, and this condition can then be defined on any attribute, be it custom or default field.
With the new adapter, your Zendesk users (service agents) can interact with extended software development teams. It is now very easy to share artifacts, track status, and build advanced reports in Zendesk when you are simultaneously working on the other tool.
Database adapter for ConnectALL
Most companies have the need to integrate agile tools with ERP systems, e.g., Jira data shared between PPM or ERP systems. In a typical scenario:
- ERP systems (SAP) are used for budget planning and cost allocation agile tools (Jira) are used for sprint planning, issue tracking, and workflow management
- When the SCRUM master or a development lead is detailing the project work in Jira, it is important that the data is shared with an ERP system. For example, timesheet synchronization helps cost allocation for the project, which in turn facilitates the decision-making for project managers and the management. Database adapter in ConnectALL helps you move data between disparate applications. It’s a simple and effective way of connecting Jira with ERP system and enabling traceability across the software development lifecycle.
Common adapter for Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and Team Foundation Server 2015 (TFS 2015)
There is a new adapter in ConnectALL that is common for both VSTS and TFS2015. One simple adapter for easy maintenance and upgrades.
But that’s not it. In addition to three application adapters, there is more to this release. The existing adapters have major and minor enhances: Like, VSTS changeset integration with Jira, customizable connector pooling support, and many more bugs fixes.
