The following updates are included with the release of ConnectALL v1.15:

  • Further integration support: ConnectALL now supports the latest HP ALM/Quality Center software (including versions 12.20, 12.01, and 12.00) while ensuring compatibility with earlier versions of the software.
  • Enhanced user management: Previously, only the ConnectALL Administrator could add and manage LDAP users within the users’ assigned groups. Now, the Administrator role has been granted privileges allowing him to browse the LDAP database and add new users to his own group through the ConnectALL GUI. To further enhance manageability, newly created LDAP users are now automatically synchronized with the ConnectALL database. Previous versions required manual synchronization of users through the ConnectALL GUI.
  • Additional role and new responsibilities: The ConnectALL GUI integrates ALM systems through an application link consisting of Configuration, Entity Mapping, and Field Mapping tabs. The dashboard, in turn, monitors the synchronization of these ALM systems. This release has added the role of Contributor to the current hierarchy, which is now as follows: ConnectALL Administrator -> Administrator -> Editor -> Contributor -> User. While the User role has permission to view but not modify the application link, the Contributor role has more advanced access that allows him to make changes to Entity Mapping and Field Mapping tabs without causing catastrophic incidents such as account lockouts.

ConnectALL unifies multiple ALM systems such as those from Atlassian Jira, Micro Focus ALM, IBM Rational, Microsoft TFS, etc. so that distributed teams can use the development tools of their choice and work in concert with other teams.

The following video demonstrates how to use ConnectALL between Micro Focus ALM and Atlassian Jira:
